FIGS
I’ve been a FIGS ambassador since they approached me directly. In August 2025 I was their guest at the Rounds Table in London, a dinner for clinicians on wellbeing in medicine, hosted with Joyce Omatseye.
An NHS doctor who explains medicine to more than 250,000 followers online, with over 100 million views. Brands, government, boards and broadcasters work with me when the medicine has to be right and people need to hear it.

My full-time job is looking after patients, so I take on a small amount of outside work and choose it carefully. Pick the one that fits you to see what I do, what I’ve done, and how to book.
Ambassador roles, video series and events for established healthcare brands, from a doctor whose audience trusts him.
Frontline clinical insight, and the reach to get public health messages to younger audiences.
A practising clinician on the board, asking whether the product makes life easier for patients and the people looking after them.
Documentaries, podcasts, long-form interviews, panels and talks on medicine and the NHS.

“I’m a doctor who also works in health communication, not the other way round.”
I work with established healthcare brands and charities, and I stay with them for the long term. More on brand partnerships

Nine videos on careers in health and social care, running on my TikTok and Instagram for a year, and talks on stage to young people thinking about those careers.
The Terrence Higgins Trust invited me to join a small group, with the charity’s patron Beverley Knight, for a half-hour discussion with Keir Starmer. That day he became the first UK Prime Minister to take an HIV test in public.
It sits alongside my work on TikTok’s first Clinical Creator Council, which works with the Department of Health and Social Care on medical misinformation, and Team Halo, the UN-backed effort against COVID-19 vaccine misinformation.
What I see looking after surgical patients, and what the evidence says about it. All clinical notes
We got the time from arriving at the front door to a decision under an hour. It’s just doing the simple things right.
Count the same surgical wounds four ways and you get four infection rates, from 6.8% to 19.2%. DISH is an attempt at one language for them.
Fewer of the patients anaesthetists see are fit and well than a decade ago, and it matches what I see at the surgical front door.
